For this occasion, Tequila Ocho, Bart's Bottles and Zeeuw & Schot worked together on this special movie event that we are happy to invite you to.

AGAVE: THE SPIRIT OF A NATION is an independent movie that tells the story of agave and the Mexican legacy of producing spirits.

The film is narrated by Damián Alcázar (known from Narcos México) and features agave heavyweights Graciela Angeles Carreño from Mezcal Real Minero, Aquilino García López from Mezcal Vago and last but not least:
Carlos Camarena who, together with Thomas Estes, gave us Tequila Ocho.

Join us at Zeeuw & Schot for this legendary movie followed by an Q&A with Jesse Estes and Aquilino García López* and at night a proper Ocho Fiesta with Ocho cocktails by Zeeuw & Schot and by local and not-so-local guest bartenders, a Tequila Ocho Quiz, special Tequila Ocho samples, delicious bites and many more surprises.

Ian Burrell, Global Rum Ambassador invites you to join the competition whether you’re a professional bartender or you like mixing drinks at home.

Equiano is looking for talented contestants who will create unique cocktails inspired by Africa and The Caribbean. Prizes include a £2000 cash prize for bartenders and a private party for hometenders, as well as a year's supply of Equiano Rum.

Paul Hletko is the founder and master distiller of FEW Spirits in Evanston Illinois. Until he opened his distillery there, Evanston had been dry for 160 years, and was known as the birthplace of prohibition. Paul has always had an urge to create, to start with nothing, and end up with something. 

He is inspired by his grandfather, who was a brewer in the Czech Republic before World War II. He lost everything, including his family, to the Nazis, and Paul merged his urge to create with his desire to honor this family heritage and FEW Spirits was born.

Now, after a long time of not being able to travel we are very happy to have Paul with us in Amsterdam on the 17th of March when we will host an masterclass including a tasting and Q&A with FEW Spirits and Paul himself.

This event is being held at and organised in collaboration with The Dylan Hotel.

After the the masterclass the bartenders of Bar Brasserie Occo at The Dylan Hotel have created a special cocktailmenu with FEW for you to enjoy with bites from the kitchen.
